Mimosa Pursiainen is a philosopher, researcher and artist. Her philosophical work revolves around the phenomenology of embodiment, technology, aesthetics and agency. She defended her doctoral thesis about the phenomenon of the cyborg at the University of Jyväskylä in 2017. Martta Heikkilä

PhD Martta Heikkilä is a docent of aesthetics who teaches philosophy of art and art criticism at the University of Helsinki and the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts. She is specialised in contemporary French philosophy and phenomenology. Her publications include At the Limits of Presentation: Coming into Presence and its Aesthetic Relevance in Jean-Luc Nancy’s Philosophy (Peter Lang, 2008) and Taidekritiikin perusteet (”Introduction to Art Criticism”, Gaudeamus 2012), Viivan filosofia (”The Philosophy of Line”, Finnish Academy of Fine Arts, 2014) as well as several writings on art.
